The Paintball That Keeps Us Safe... this is not your weekend
recreational game!

With all that’s going on in the world today, our law enforcement
and armed forces are better prepared for terrorist than ever
before. Recent events has caused this nation to be on our highest
guard, and national security has become a household word.

As a paintball enthusiast, I'm proud to say that our sport is used in
training the fine men and woman that are protecting our country,
here and abroad. Military and law enforcement personnel utilize
paintball to help them hone their skills in different combat
situations and scenarios, but the paintball these guys play far
differs than what we are accustomed to in our local fields.

Rap4 Paintball (
www.rap4.com) offers courses for law enforcement
and military that allows them to train their tactics without the fear of
serious injury. The guns that are used are not like typical paintball
markers. Theirs are replicas of what they actually carry when on
duty. Rap4 markers offer the same weight, feel, and fire modes as
their real life counterparts, and are even magazine fed like real
assault weapons. The .40 caliber paintballs are smaller than the
standard .68 caliber paintballs. The Rap4 markers even eject a
casing after every shot. Rap 4 paintball sells these markers, but
have distinctive law enforcement models only. The courses that
Rap4 offer vary from riot control, to close quarter combat in
different environments and situations; to subdue and capture
drills. They cover a lot more in detail at the site so make sure to
check them out.

www.urbanwarfarecenter.com is a force on force combat training
facility that is operated by active and retired veterans of various
military branches and law enforcement agencies. Their facilities
also use paintball technology in their training weaponry that
ensures safety to all participants in their programs. They
specialize in essential military training that is needed before
deployment. It insures that the chances of survival are increased
when they are confronted with real fire-fights in urban terrain.
Their Police/Agency program are used by Federal and
Government agencies, SWAT, and the Military. Civilians also have
a course that may prepare them for the dangers they may face at
home.

Many paintball players never really think about how lucky they are
to have such dedicated men and women serving our country, and
sacrificing their lives to ensure our freedom. Scenario players fight
imaginary battles, get shot, then prepare to play again. Our
soldiers and troops are given only one life to fight with, and they
risk life and limb willingly so that we may be safe at home. There is
no wiping in real war. There is not a respawn zone, and the game
is not over with a pull of a flag. There are many people who may
find negative things to say about paintball, but now we paintballers
can say that our sport has contributed to the many skills our
soldiers use to keep us safe from harm.
Remember...
