summer, opera at the movies, galleries and
celebrations, where music, the elixir of life, steals
the show and New York's rhythm town hits the
high notes in venues both visual and sensual.

    "T'is the last song of summer" when
Classical Music in Bryant Park's gives its last concert, Wednesday evening Oct. 8. The
Lindemann Young Artist Development program brings out young artists from the famed
Metropolitan Opera. Arias, duets and trios from Verdi, Tosti, Donizetti, Puccini, Mozart from the

    Let your senses collide in a Poem of Ecstasy! See it, hear it,
smellred: Do I have what it takes to be an artist? Do I have an
artistic sensibility? Go to a Lumiatra performance and find out.
Using multimedia tools of the 21st Century, Lumiatra aims to
bring to life the work of synesthetic artist Patrick Collins as he
paints the music of Dimitri Shostakovich. The avant-garde dance
