SOMEWHERE OVER THE RAINBOW THERE'S CULTURE

    Somewhere over the rainbow chic New Yorker's find their pot of luck in St. Patrick's Day
celebrations. Dipping into cultural pursuits they're soaring beyond the rainbow to see the
powerful and mysterious Crystal Skull. Then the wee folk visit a tiny, Lilliputian dollhouse.
Goudstikker's recovered artworks and Carlton Hobb's ancient table tops headline the list of the
many splendid vernissages only the Big Apple my friends, only in the Big Apple. Here's the

    There's magic and mystery worthy of an Irish legend in the Mitchell-Hedges CRYSTAL
SKULL. Said to be an Atlantean creation containing mysterious information, or an extraterrestrial
artifact it is touted to have powerful energy. Interested? You can see the mystery and power of
the skull in a Powerpoint presentation on its history and the fascinating legends that surround it

    Ireland's "wee folk" move over, the famed Carrie Stettheimer's tiny dollhouse reopens with an
artistic make over at the Museum of the City of New York. Fifteen miniature works of art, some by
20th-century masters, such as Gaston Lachaise and George Bellows, join those of Marcel
Duchamp's "Nude Descending a Staircase,"and Isabelle Lachaise's, alabaster "Venus." All
postage-stamp size art on view along with Lilliputian figures depict the Art Deco era created by
the Stettheimer sisters represent a unique connection to New York. Through May 3. The
Stettheimer Dollhouse book by Sheila Clark available in the MCNY bookstore.

A rare opportunity, "Reclaimed: Paintings from the Collection of Jacques Goudstikker" reveals
the extraordinary legacy of Jacques Gouldstikker, a renowned Jewish art dealer in Amsterdam
whose vast collection of masterpieces fell victim, and was almost lost forever, to the Nazi practice
of looting cultural properties. His family successful reclaimed 200 of his paintings from the Dutch
government, one of the largest claims of Nazi-looted art ever resolved. Also included are original
documents and photographs--most significantly a notebook inventorying his gallery's holdings.

    Top of the morning to you! Carlton Hobbs, the pre-eminent international antiques dealer in
rare furniture and historic objects, presents 'On Tops' an exhibition of antique table tops
ranging from the 2nd Century AD to the 19th Century at 60 E. 93rd St. The exhibition focuses on
